In 2002, Judie received her Juris Doctorate from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. While attending law school, she worked as a paralegal in the commercial litigation department for a prominent Washington, DC law firm. Judie also attended the Université Aix/Marseille in Aix-en-Provence, France from 1985 to 1986 and in 1987 received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from San Francisco State University.

Judie became a member of the State Bar of Arizona in 2003 and has been a continuing active member since that time. She is also a  member of, Mental Health and Elder Law Sections of the State Bar of Arizona and a former member of both the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and the Arizona Women Lawyers Association.

Judie is also a past President of the East Valley Estate Planning Counsel. She has taught continuing legal education classes for the Maricopa Bar Association for the past three years.  She is also a frequent presenter for Trust companies on the topic of financially preparing and surviving life changing events. Judie is admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts in Arizona.

Judie practices in the areas of commercial litigation, family law, Adult Guardianship/Conservatorship, Probate and Trust Administration as well as contested Estate Matters.
Judie’s experience in litigation allows her to effectively advocate for her clients in contentious and complex litigation. She also brings with her the tools necessary to encourage mediation and settlement during the often emotional process of dealing with family disputes, end of life issues or managing the Estate of a loved one.
